Gardening Maintenance
- Do not neglect your container plants; prune them lightly and feed and water them regularly.
- Cut out the dead branches from garden trees.
- Feed and deadhead annuals.
- Feed shrubs with a fertilizer high in potassium.
- Water and mow the lawn.
- Water, feed and cut the lawn regularly to cultivate a thick mat.
- Apply a light cover of lawn dressing if required.
- Fertilize the garden once a month with Wonder 3:1:5 (26) SR or Wonder 5:1:5 (22) All-Purpose at a rate of 30g/m2.
- Ensure your container plants are damp before feeding, otherwise the roots may suffer from fertilizer burn.
- Remove suckers from bromeliads and transplant them.
- Feed bananas; and water citrus, litchis, mangoes and papaws thoroughly.
