Summer-growing, with narrow, strap-like leaves and tall stems bearing pink or white flowers in late summer. Bulbs may not all flower every year. Plant bulbs in groups and leave them in the ground for four to five years before lifting and thinning overcrowded plants in winter. Nerines provide excellent cut flowers. Also known as Guernsey lily and pink spider lily.
