Garden Maintenance
General garden maintenance
- Water and mow the lawn once a month.
- Spring-flowering bulbs can still be planted.
- Fertilize granadillas and pawpaws.
- Do not water mango trees from now until the end of July.
- Water tropical plants frequently when the weather is hot and dry.
- Water Staghorn ferns, Bromeliad.
- Do not neglect your container plants; prune them lightly and feed and water them regularly.
- Cut out the dead branches from garden trees.
- Feed and deadhead annuals.
- Water and mow the lawn.
- Feed foliage plants with a nitrogen-based fertilizer, such as Nitrosol or Seagro.
- Watch out for mildew on plants, especially on Zinnia, and spray if necessary.
- Feed Canna, mulch with compost and water regularly.
- Deadhead flowering plants.
