A fine specimen plant, this charming, large, shrub has wavy-edged, light green leaves and highly scented, cream-coloured flowers. P. Eugenoides ‘Variegata’ (variegated lemonwood) makes an ideal background foliage plant, yet it is also suitable for use as a specimen plant. Pittosporum is a favourite of landscapers, having dense, palegreen leaves with silver margins. The foliage is useful for flower arranging.
