Plant description:

This scrambling, narrow shrub puts on a show from midsummer to autumn when it is covered in 70mm-long spikes of dainty flowers that come in a range of pinks, sometimes white. It grows especially well along the warmer east coast, but needs to be kept well watered. Plant in a position that receives full sun. There is some confusion over the name, and you may find it labelled Indigo cylindrica, I. fruiticosa or I. frutescens.
