Restio multiflorus, upright-growing, tuft-forming, with a mass of young, finely branched light green stems and dark brown bracts in summer, makes a very good, wind resistant focus plant in dry areas. R. quadratus is spreading, with finely branched stems and brown seed heads in summer.
