Plant description:

Venus flytrap is an evergreen plant with rosettes of leaves. Each leaf has a flat stalk and ends in a trap which is folded into 2 hinged lobes with bristly edges. The trap has a reddish, dark red or green centre depending on the amount of sun received. Fully grown Venus flytraps produce tall stems with clusters of white tubular flowers in Spring. If left alone, flowers will produce round black seeds.
